EP61: The Horrific Crimes Of Peter Tobin Part 1 Don't Blame The Mom

    • True Crime

Crime talk timestamp: 13:20. On September 24th 2006 police in Glasgow, Scotland were alerted to reports of a missing Polish student.
23 year old Anjelika Kluk had suddenly vanished after being seen next to the church where she worked, talking with the local handyman .
As an intense search for the missing girl begins, her battered body is discovered dumped beneath the floor of the chapel in an underground chamber. She had suffered the most savage & brutal attack before being buried alive.
Police investigating her horrific murder finally track down the handyman & realise that their suspect could not have just killed Anjelika in a one off murderous frenzy . As they investigate this man who was operating under an alias it reveals a worrying history of violent sexual assaults. Further clues lead them to believe that they are very likely dealing with one of the most violent serial killers Britain had ever seen .
As they continue to delve into his past they resort to digging up the garden of his old house. There they make not one but two more grisly discoveries .
The decomposing bodies of two missing teenagers Vicky Hamilton & Dinah McNicol who had both vanished from separate parts of the country years before. Now the two young teenagers had finally tragically been found.
Thus ending the mystery of what had happened to them all those years ago & putting their killer evil Peter Tobin in prison for the rest of his life .
Yet police couldn’t stop there, as they knew there were big gaps in Tobin’s past & lots of areas he’d lived in across the Uk where women & girls had mysteriously vanished at the same time .
Places where unsolved cold cases were still open and disappearances that could very likely be the work of this evil killer …
In today’s episode we look at how a very likeable funny & helpful Scottish man hid underneath this normal veneer he had created.
Infact, lurking under that jovial exterior was a violent, sadistic, cold blooded serial killer who posed a danger to any woman he came into contact with. He was the most dangerous type of predator to walk the streets of Britain .
