1 phone call. 1 hour. No names. No holds barred. Thats the premise behind Beautiful Stories from Anonymous People, hosted by comedian Chris Gethard (the Chris Gethard Show, Broad City, This American Life, and one of Time Outs 10 best comedians of 2015). Every week, Chris opens the phone line to one anonymous caller, and he cant hang up first, no matter what. From shocking confessions and family secrets to philosophical discussions and shameless self-promotion, anything can and will happen! Theme song by Shellshag.

Can’t get enough!
I’m sure everyone has already said that in one way or another but BA is simply one of the most amazing podcasts out there. It is both simple and heartfelt. It is real and raw, it covers all sorts of topics, and every time it helps me see more of people’s complexity and diversity. Just try it once, you’ll be immediately hooked for good :)
Exactly what I've been searching for
Around a year ago I randomely discovered this podcast when I was searching for something to listen to while running on the treadmill. I ended up running for an hour and a half because of how immersed I was in the entire podcast. Being able to hear about people's stories and innermost thoughts is just boundlessly fascinating! Chris's humor helps to alleviate the sometimes heavy atmosphere. Even when the podcast starts going in a direction that I didn't want to, at the end of it I'm always sure that Chris will make the podcast meaningful. Really love this show and hope it never ends :) !!
