Meanwhile, Jannik Sinner survives a bizarre first set blip to overcome Moutet and Hubert Hurkacz flies out in fury and demands a change of Umpire in his loss to Grigor Dimitrov.

French Open R3 - Djokovic delivers in 3am finish, Zverev back from brink, Sabalenka stroll

French Open R3 - Djokovic delivers in 3am finish, Zverev back from brink, Sabalenka stroll

Tennis Weekly are back to catch up on Round 3 action from Roland Garros. Kim is back from a wet Paris and joined by Joel to chat all things day 7 whilst we join Chris and Alina on site at the tournament for the talking points from day 6.
With Novak Djokovic winning through in 5 sets over Lorenzo Musetti in a 3am finish, Sacha Zverev fighting back from possible defeat at the hands of 26th seed Tallon Griekspoor, and one of the tournament hopes Madison Keys falling to fellow American Emma Navarro, there is plenty of action and drama to discuss.
Possible contender Daniil Medvedev also posted a good win over in form Thomas Machac, whilst top seeds Aryna Sabalenka, Elena Rybakina and Casper Ruud are all safely through to fourth round action with more comfortable scorelines.
Joel and Kim also look ahead to the 4th round matches that are catching their eye (FAA v Alcaraz anyone?) whilst Joel prepares for his exciting trip to the ITF100 event on the grass courts of Surbiton.

French Open R2 - Swiatek edges Osaka epic, Mauresmo lays down law, Djokovic back at best

French Open R2 - Swiatek edges Osaka epic, Mauresmo lays down law, Djokovic back at best

Tennis Weekly has taken over Roland Garros and Paris! Well, two of them that is. Join Chris and Kim as they chat live from the grounds of Roland Garros to catch-up on Round 2 of the Drench Open, apologies the FRENCH Open with a special guest appearance from Producer Alina to boot in the second half.
In the episode, they discuss the epic encounter that was Iga Swiatek versus Naomi Osaka and where the battle was won and lost between the two titans. Alina was courtside for Carlos Alcaraz and provides some up close insight. Elsewhere, they chat about the tournament's decision to ban fans from drinking alcohol in the stands to help curb unruly behaviour. They also catch-up on all the action from around the grounds including Novak Djokovic, Medvedev and Kenin making it through to the third round.

French Open R1 - Nadal's Paris reign ends, Murray in Brits wipeout, Swiatek-Osaka is ON

French Open R1 - Nadal's Paris reign ends, Murray in Brits wipeout, Swiatek-Osaka is ON

Rain, roofs and Rafa! It’s time for an admittedly damp French Open Round 1 catch-up as Joel is joined by Chris live in Paris to look back on all the action from the first three days in Paris.
It’s been an emotional last couple of days in tennis as Rafael Nadal bowed out of possibly his last Roland Garros to Alexander Zverev. Elsewhere, Andy Murray also exited with a losing effort to long time rival Stan Wawrinka and Alize Cornet got a home crowd career send off on Phillipe Chatrier.
It wasn’t all retirement chat though as Paris saw easy return to tour victories for Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner whilst Swiatek, Sabalenka and Rybakina all got their campaigns up and running with comfortable starts. This wasn’t the case though for British Tennis as the Brits endured a miserable few days on the clay. However this didn’t dampen spirits at Tennis Weekly HQ as Joel and Chris look forward to Round 2 and the exciting prospect of Swiatek vs. Osaka (!)

French Open Preview - Draw shock as Nadal lands Zverev, Swiatek faces tricky path

French Open Preview - Draw shock as Nadal lands Zverev, Swiatek faces tricky path

Roland Garros has rolled into town and the Tennis Weekly trio are here to round up the men’s and women’s singles draws from the French Open! They go quarter by quarter to analyze the top seeds’ chances given their respective draws, and select some early showstopper clashes and rogue deep runs to look out for. They also make their (potentially terrible) quarter by quarter predictions before revealing this edition’s player picks for the famous Tennis Weekly Collect A Set competition.
Will Novak Djokovic regain some form to capture his fourth French Open? Will Rafael Nadal be able to overcome a nightmare first round clash with Sasha Zverev? Will Danielle Collins spoil the Iga Swiatek clay party?
Tune in to find out the thoughts of Tennis Weekly, and prepare yourselves for Roland Garros to begin!

Swiatek stands alone for Paris, Zverev leads Next Gen contenders, Djokovic's Geneva trip

Swiatek stands alone for Paris, Zverev leads Next Gen contenders, Djokovic's Geneva trip

With Paris around the corner, the Tennis Weekly trio are back once again to round up all the action from the last week on tour, which saw Italian Open Champions Iga Swiatek and Sacha Zverev crowned in Rome.
With Swiatek continuing her dominance this season, dispatching Aryna Sabalenka to clinch her 3rd Italian Open, and Sacha Zverev defying surprise finalist Nicholas Jarry to win his biggest title in three years, there is plenty to discuss from the Foro Italico. Not to mention the successful weeks for three Americans - Tommy Paul, Coco Gauff and Danielle Collins.
The trio also catch up on the recent announcement of French Open wildcards, changes to the British Grass Court season from 2025 and they debate whether the term ‘Big 3’ is being overused on tour.
Joel also teases Kim and Chris's knowledge of retro Spanish players in the latest rendition of “Joel's Game”. One not to be missed!
