Soviet Union this/Soviet Union that
The Rostov ripper was very interesting and it was cool to see them linking socio-economic problems with the climate that bred the Rostov ripper but at some point it just felt like anti-Soviet propaganda I mean they’ve done this with pretty much non-western based cases where there is a good focus on the political and economic turmoil around the time but they never give this much attention to the effects of Reagan or Thatcher administration in relation to say American and English serial killers at the time at the time.
At the end this is one of the few if not the only true crime podcast I listen to it because I do love the the way in which they tackle every episode with the thorough backstory and cases that don’t get much attention but yea just this nitpick 😇
