122 - The Yummy's Perform a Full Live Set Kilson Street

Wow it's been too long since we've presented any local bands. Too long. With all the restrictions in place here in Orange County California due to Covid, we've been laying low and trying to figure out a way to bring you shows without putting peoples lives in danger.
With that, we present to you a fairly new band with some familiar faces to our show: They Yummy's. Somewhat hosted by Brennan Roach and recorded LIVE to "tape."
We normally record our show in our garage, but due to Covid we didn't want to have a bunch of people from separate households cooped up in a small space at one time. So the way we set this up is by having our garage open with the band facing out to the 'hood. We set up our cameras on tripods, used a remote switcher for the video, and mixed the audio on the other side of the garage wall, which created an environment where our crew would not be in the same room as the performers.
We hope you enjoy this episode and hope this works out for everyone involved. We're hoping to do more mobile set ups to bring you episodes with quick turnarounds compared to previous years, which means we can host a lot more bands.
