In a protest action organized by Computer Professionals Union and AGHAM - Advocates of Science and Technology for the People, speakers from youth groups, trade union, media, and progressive partylists elaborate on the negative impacts of the proposed law, which they claim would curtail privacy rights, freedom of speech, freedom of expression, and right to information, and would hamper access by ordinary Filipinos to basic social services which requires phones and/or social media accounts.
