The fifth episode in the Covid-19 series of Change Begins explores dealing with the pandemic. Featuring Covid survivor Arshita Kapoor narrating her ordeal of Covid stigma, lawyer Mishika Singh on the need for a centralised Covid database, and senior bureaucrat in the Andhra Pradesh CMO, P V Ramesh, talking about challenges faced by the government, and the way forward, in tackling this unprecedented pandemic. 

Continuing with our Covid series, in this episode, we discuss the revival of rural jobs with Sachin Pilot, the Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan. Loss of livelihoods has been a major impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, putting at risk the social security of millions. To deal with that, the state government in Rajasthan utilized the MGNREGA scheme to generate jobs, ensuring people in rural areas had employment, and cash in hand during this moment of crisis.

In this episode we discuss the migrants crisis unfolding in India amid the continuing Coronavirus pandemic. As scores of migrants continue to walk miles and miles in scorching heat, battling hunger, thirst, and faced with the life-threatening risk of the Coronavirus, renowned journalist Rajdeep Sardesai talks to us about various aspects of the crisis. Also joining the conversation is Prof Jagdeep Chhokar, a former professor of Management and Organisational Behaviour at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, and co-founder of the political accountability initiative Association for Democratic Reforms.
