    Judge denies Davis killer's request; water withheld from unhoused community

    A Santa Clara County judge has denied a request by convicted killer Richard Allen Davis for an overturn of his death penalty sentence.

    As the temperatures start to rise in the South Bay, one of the larger unhoused encampments in San Jose has lost widespread access to water.

    The San Mateo County Sheriff's Office will operate out of new headquarters in downtown Redwood City starting Monday.
