Episode Notes - Season 2 Episode 9
In this special episode the Single Sisters were thrilled and privileged to get to speak to Jackie.  What an amazing virtual world we now live in.  Introduced to us by one of our regular listeners and supporters, Jackie, a proud Samoan woman, shared her personal story on transitioning to life in Australia as a young girl.  It is clear from speaking to Jackie that the Samoan culture is one that encompasses all facets of life that we should all try and uphold as caring and respectful humans: honouring family, respect for others, and helping others in need.
Jackie speaks fondly of special Samoan traditions especially having the traditional Malu tattoo done as her grandmother did before her.  Having daughters herself now, Jackie talks about how she intends to ensure the meaning of Samoan culture is carried down to the next generation by teaching her own children the language and instilling in them the importance of “The Samoan Way”

What have the Single Sisters been up to this fortnight… well easier to say what they haven't been.   Even though life is still pretty quiet due to #Covid19 – maybe not as quiet as you think and could one of the sister’s be expecting a Covid baby, surely not?

With all this extra time on their hands surely they are making headway in achieving some of the goals they have previously set or have addictions been taken too far. Has Caz found her McDreamy Personal Trainer or spent too much time on Marketplace buying up a storm.  Jo gives an update on her latest coffee date adventure, success or not, what is she really looking for in a man and why always so much chilli?

The Sisters share some of their future goals and dreams and money making schemes.  Conversations of tax return time, superannuation hints and tips and plans of future side hustles.  All told in full Jo & Caz style!!

Heard of catfishing, benching or ghosting… no?  Neither did the Single Sisters until they decided to delve a little further into the world of online dating.   Caz gives us all the latest lingo to fish with.  Jo gives an update on her latest attempts to find “true love” online, along with some interesting tips she has picked up along the way.  Jo and Caz have taken their turns to find love via various dating apps but alas they are still the Single Sisters.

On the subject of online dating, a real life true love romance is the backdrop to our interview this fortnight.   Our dear friend Sam opens up about how she met her hunk of a spunk husband online and how 5 years later they are happily married and have just moved into their newly built dream home.  It’s quite a story and one that gives us Single Sisters hope that there is someone waiting out there just for us.  We hope you enjoy this special episode on dating and love.  And always remember #life.laughter.leisure.LOVE!.

Episode Notes - Season 2 Episode 6 – Life After Lockdown

After their lockdown hiatus, the Single Sisters are finally back in the studio.   This episode provides some insight on how they dealt with being locked up due to the current Covid-19 pandemic.  While it has been a tough time for many, for these Single Sisters being anti-social just isn’t something they can do easily.  How did they manage to entertain themselves? Well they purchased a new toy (and nooooo not what you are thinking haha!!) and held some wild home cocktail and karaoke nights.

Listen in for some more details on how Jo & Caz managed to get through the last few months mostly unscathed and what other antics they got up too, including way too much clothes shopping.  Is there even such a thing??

Show Notes - Season 2 Episode 5 -  Sisters in Isolation

Along with the rest of the world, the Single Sisters are still having to #stayhome and take #socialdistancing very seriously! and they have been making the most of their newly found downtime.  Easter has come and gone and it hasn’t been without its challenges, of an emotional and physical nature.  What challenges did the Single Sisters face or put their face too?  There were a few including their isolation health challenge. Not sisters to sit idle for too long, listen how they have managed to keep themselves entertained over the past fortnight.  Maybe a few isolation hacks for thought! Being single may come with a few negatives, but what novel way does Jo have to conjure up the thoughts of Sunday cuddles in bed.  You will never guess.
