Sam, Phuoc, Wilder, Alex and special guest Adam Susman sit down to talk through it all, and break down the first four-point Saturday of the season.

It was a big week in Soccer City, as the Timbers earned another decent(ish) draw and the Thorns made a change at head coach. Sam, Alex, and Phuoc sat down to talk through the latest Timbers result and heap the praise on Evander. It was another trying weekend for the Timbers, as they lost their third straight game. But that didn’t deter the pod squad, as Alex, Sam, Phuoc, and returning special guest of took to the microphones to recap and break down Portland’s latest defeat in Vancouver.
Then, the boys chatted with current Timbers assistant coach Liam Ridgewell all about his illustrious time with Portland. We touch on his memories from his playing days, whether coaching or broadcasting is harder, what it’s like being on Phil Neville’s staff, and how it feels to be coaching his former teammates.

Sophia Smith is staying y’all. The Thorns announced this week that the star has signed a contract extension to stay in the Rose City.
It’s a big occasion that calls for a big crew: the entire Stumptown Footy team comes together for the first episode featuring all of our voices! Alex, Melina, Phuoc, Sam, and Wilder all take to the microphones to talk about the new contract, what it means for this year and beyond, and what it could portend for Smith’s future in Portland.
Plus, the gang talks through yet another weekend without points for the Timbers and Thorns, and identify what went wrong and how worried each fanbase should be (spoiler: surprisingly not too much yet!)
