Kundrecensioner
Great choices of music!
These guys have great taste and they know how to pace a podcast episode. The discussion goes into musical analysis sometimes but not too deeply so don’t require previous knowledge of music theory.
My only gripe is that when they get enthusiastic, the brothers tend to interrupt each other a lot which gets annoying, particularly when it is only to interject some superlative about how much they agree.
Interesting discussions and great selection
I’d been looking for a vgm podcast for quite some time when I found this. Really like their selection of music that they cover and their theming of different episodes. I might not always share opinions, but always enjoy their discussions and reasoning. Also, like the fact that the music clips are fairly short (I’ve heard some podcasts where they play the entire loop twice which is too long for me), it strikes a good balance between getting to hear the music and keeping the flow of the podcast.
Heaven and hell
These guys really know there video game music! So full och knowledge of both the industry as well as music theory. BUT (and that is a big but), they are brothers - and I have a hunch of who is the younger one - and they are making sure it’s a non-stop fight of being heard. Even when asked questions they interrupt and talk over each other to the point where I’m now unsubscribing from this podcast for the second time. I can’t take it. Perhaps they should take turns in talking between the songs or at least TRY and be quiet when the other person talks.
