My 1st guest on the Cali Cast Podcast is Willie Owusu the Fit Cinematographer. Willie used to work for a production company known as Vivid Features in the early 2000s. They used to focus on documentaries but they approached us to shoot videos for RUKA & MANZI WA NAIROBI for FREE after they heard the songs.

I was born and raised in California a hood in Pumwani, Nairobi. I grew up in a household where we listened to all genres of music but my 1st love was Hip Hop. The Matatu culture - the graffiti and the loud music - played a big role in my journey. In this episode we take it all the way to the Genesis!! Happy listening.
