They did it! The votes are in, and the Dave Matthews Band will be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on October 19, 2024! In this "emergency episode", we celebrate this incredible accomplishment by recapping some of DMB's accomplishments, influences, and impact on and off the stage throughout their 33 year (and counting) career.

No one is more deserving, and we cannot be more proud of and happy for the entire DMB family (band/crew/fans). Congratulations!

DMB played their first 2 shows of 2024 this past weekend at Dolby Live in Las Vegas and then headlining the Extra Innings Festival in Tempe, Arizona. The band gave us much to talk about on the stage, but on this episode we are taking you backstage for a unique experience had by friend of the pod, Clint Wells. Clint (guitarist for Morgan Wade) joined us to recap both shows, and tell us all about his "kid in a candy store" moment on stage, backstage, and side stage at Innings Fest. Another incredible weekend with Dave & Tim in Mexico is in the books, and you'd be hard pressed to find someone that had more to celebrate than this week's guest, friend of the pod Alex Sohani. Alex and his lovely wife were recently married and spent their honeymoon in Cancun, enjoyed 4 nights of great music, and on Sunday they celebrated Alex's 100th show! In Part 2 of our interview with Steve Lillywhite, we wanted to explore some topics that may not have been as widely discussed as some of the ones we touched on in Part 1. Not only do we take a deeper dive into the last DMB record he has produced, Away From the World (2012), we also venture into the Phish waters and have Steve reminisce on his time producing Billy Breathes (1996) as well as their post-breakup comeback album Joy (2009). Incredibly insightful and unabashedly honest, Steve delivers some epic recollections and opinions that will certainly leave you yearning for more. 
Our time with Lillywhite concludes with an absolute can't miss "Rapid Fire" segment where we learn who would be sitting at Steve's dream dinner table, what project he is most proud of, and the band he'd most want to work with next. His answer shocked us!
