    27. An Authentic Conversation about Addiction + Betrayal Trauma

    27. An Authentic Conversation about Addiction + Betrayal Trauma

As we jump into season 3 of The Mama Retreat, you'll notice a couple of changes!

The Mama Retreat continues to evolve and change with needs that we see around us-- and one of those needs has been dispelling myths and speaking truth about the reality of pornography addiction.

Brittany and her husband Colton talk about their very real, and very scary experiences with addiction recovery and betrayal trauma.

The goal of this episode is to bring knowledge, hope, and peace when it comes to these real-world topics.

    24. What is Kintsugi?

    24. What is Kintsugi?

On our last retreat, we were taught about the Japanese art of Kintsugi. We learned so much!

The primary lesson that we learned is that there is beauty and value in the brokenness.

You are worthy, beautiful, and just the way you were meant to be. There is not only beauty in the brokenness--but strength.

Have you ever done Kintsugi? What lessons have you learned? Share with us on Instagram!

Thinking of supporting this podcast? We would be more than happy to give you a shout out on our podcast when you support us with a donation. A small donation will help this podcast reach more women like you, and bring YOU more episodes.

Can't support monetarily? That's ok! Leaving a review helps tremendously. Thank you again, and hang in there, sister! You've got this!

    23. What is a Soul Contract?

    23. What is a Soul Contract?

Today's episode is a little *discussion* on soul contracts. What is the idea behind a soul contract, and how could believing you have a soul contract with someone help you in your motherhood journey?

Also, we may or may not have had the sillies during this episode. (You get the real us this time... hahaha)

We'd love to hear your discussion about soul contracts! Go find this episode on Instagram and tell us what you think! Do you feel like you could have a soul contract with someone? If so, who?

    Love, Kaity & Brittany

    22. A New Season and An Intro to Intuition

    22. A New Season and An Intro to Intuition

Welcome BACK to Season 2 of The Mama Retreat. We are so thankful for you--for listening and participating in these small retreats. We know how much you crave a little break from the daily tasks of life, and we are thankful to be able to offer you a second season of episodes! During this episode, we'll explain how we got the ideas for Season 2, and talk a little bit about "intuition"--what it is, and how it can benefit you as a mother!.

We LOVE meditation, but sometimes as a mom, it can be really difficult to know where to start, or even how to meditate.

108 Meditate is a company that offers monthly boxes full of tools such as oils, snacks, crystals, journal prompts, video and audio tutorials set with a specific intention to help YOU have a healing, meditative experience as a mother.

Use our code RETREAT for 10% off your box(es)!

Thank you to Annie Hutchings of 108 Meditate for sponsoring our podcast this month! If you'd like to sponsor one of our podcasts, send us a message on Instagram.
