About the Song
Greater has been a song in progress throughout my whole life. I think when you're a giving person that doesn't set boundaries, a lot of people will take advantage of you. It was hard for me to not see the worst in people knowing that it was there having experienced many betrayals from some of my closest peoples. But that's where my faith and love for God stepped in and refused to let betrayals and anger change me into a bitter and resentful person. In order to do that I had to confront the ghosts, and people of the past that lingered, trying to prevent a new attitude and better breaking out in my life.

About the Music
The Maple Blues Band is a world-class, ten-member group that includes some of Canada's most respected Blues musicians. Individually, band members have accumulated over 40 Maple Blues Awards, 90 Maple Blues Award nominations, 3 Juno Awards and numerous Juno nominations. Further, respective members have seen long-spanning careers in notable Canadian bands such as Downchild, Fathead, Matchedash Parish, and Skatalites. In addition to acting as the host band for the Maple Blues Awards since 1999, the group has also taken part in the Maple Blues Revue touring act with vocalists Chuck Jackson, Dawn Tyler Watson and John Mays. As The Maple Blues Revue, they released the album Live At Twisted Pines via Preservation Records. Along with their all-star lineup, the band has also shared the stage with countless special guests over the years, including Harry Manx, Dawn Tyler Watson, Colin James, Colin Linden, Shakura S`Aida, Duke Robillard, Jackie Richardson, Miss Emily, Big Dave McLean, Little Miss Higgins, Jim Byrnes, The Sojourners, Harrison Kennedy and many more. The Maple Blues Band's upcoming album, Let’s Go, was produced by Gary Kendall and engineered by Juno Award winner L. Stu. Young (Prince, Ann Murry, Guns & Roses, Downchild). Let's Go is a groove-packed collection of instrumentals set for release via Cordova Bay Records on January 27, 2023.

About the Music
Sam Wentzell was handed a guitar by a friend at 14 years old and has shaped his life around music ever since. As co-founder, lead singer and guitarist of the popular blues-rock-boogie band Weather Advisory, he's played in venues across Nova Scotia. Weather Advisory's debut album, Make My Day, was released in 2019. His debut solo EP, Hard Times and Dangerous Women, was released in June 2021. His first Christmas single "Santa Was a Ginger" was released on November 18th, 2021.
In 2022 "I Think I Better Tell You" came out on February 16th and on March 31st his very first recording made with a cigar box guitar "Molotov" was released. Original CDs and merchandise can be found on Sam and Weather Advisory's Bandcamp and on most streaming services. As a multi-instrumentalist, Sam plays electric and acoustic guitar, ukulele and harmonica. In 2020, he began using handmade cigar box guitars in his live shows. Sam's musical influences stretch from AC/DC to Howlin' Wolf, from Clutch to Robert Johnson and Chris Isaak.
