In fairy tale, The Pine Princess, a Hunter agrees to confront Lord Beaver and get water for a pine tree.

In Do the Wrong Thing, Ava is convinced that Ben, the most beautiful man in the world, will never talk to her.

In sci-fi short, "Baby Shower," MC tries to extort money from a drug dealer, believing that his Polaroid camera, that sends pictures from the future, would never lie.

In Do the Wrong Thing, Malcolm revisits an earlier section in preparation for an upcoming reading. Ava turns sixteen, is allowed to wear high heels and drive.

Mourad reads a potential ending for his memoir, Key to Paradise. It’s his birthday and he goes for a long run, as he does every year. He meets a homeless man who asks him for advice.
