For week three of Queer Across Virginia, we hear from a pastor who is in an in-between place. She identifies as bisexual and is out to some, but not all people in her life. Her voice has been altered to project her anonymity. She shares how she connects with her queer identity from the closet and also encourages us to listen to the Holy Spirit to know when the time is right to share our truth.

This week Queer Across Virginia takes us to the Atlantic Coast. Carlton Hardy is a Virginia Lutheran who was his congregation’s first out gay council president and is also the first person to hold the LGBTQIA+ member seat on the Virginia Synod Council. He shares stories about the importance of community and reminds all of us: it gets better.
