Hey friend! Are you tired of letting fear keep you from stepping into new opportunities? Do or did you ever wish college wouldn’t end so you could have more time to prepare for adulting and life’s confusing unknowns? In trying to figure out being a college graduate, a newlywed, or raising kiddos, did you also struggle with having successful interviews, leading groups, giving great presentations, and everything in between?
Stepping into anything new can be daunting, and I want to help make it a bit easier!
In this podcast, you will find biblical solutions and practical tips to become a confident public speaker so you can speak boldly when given the opportunity and say “yes” to whatever God calls you to without fear of judgment. By discovering who God created you to be as a daughter of the King, you will develop an undeterred confidence and boldness bolstered by Biblical truth to allow you to carry your message well and kick imposter syndrome, worry of failure, and fear of the unknown to the curb!
Hey! I’m Sarah, a wife, a boy mama, a disciple of Jesus, and your public-speaking bestie. For many years, I tried to find my identity in the approval of others rather than embracing my identity in Christ. I felt lost and unsure of who I was, yet I felt confident speaking on stage as I tried to grow my approval. But all that led to was imposter syndrome and wondering why I couldn’t bring that confidence off-stage into my daily life.
I finally realized that Jesus HAD to be my firm foundation and that I could establish myself in someone secure and unchanging! Because my worth is in Jesus, I can fight against social anxiety and be victorious each time, boldly speaking on the things I genuinely care about. My confidence grew because I knew I could rest in the firm foundation of Biblical truth - and now I’m excited to share what I’ve learned with you!
My mission is to equip you to love Jesus deeper, to go for the interview, give the presentation, and take on adulting with BOLDNESS! I want you to know who you are because of Whose you are, and to learn how all of it connects!

Lisa Vanderkwaak: Even though today Lisa Vanderkwaak , AKA "Lisa V", is an International Speaker and a Certified Executive Speaking Coach, at one time she was so terrified to speak even in a small group discussion . Through her own spiritual transformation and with the help of a coach, She went from being terrified to speak to now training people to speak with Confidence, Clarity and Transformational Impact.
Shortly after leaving her ministry position to start her business she became a widow and single mom with no secure income. It was at this time that she was introduced to the online world and has never looked back. She went on to create the first of its kind- online academy training female speakers- called Speak to Transform.
In the Spring of 2022, Lisa joined Girl Power Alliance as a VIP Member and in less than a year, became one of the first Founding Ambassadors & winner of the Club 7000 Trip. In that same year she co-founded the KIM10™ Speaker Certification program and most recently she received the 2023 IMPACT AWARD and was invited to be part of GPA’s prestigious Field Advisory Board. Lisa is passionate about equipping women to become powerful voices of Kingdom influence across the globe. Lisa and her husband David live in Alberta, Canada.
