While Super Bowl Sunday is this weekend, we will celebrate a non-conventional Awaken Super Bowl of Preaching next week. And, like the NFL honors impressive Pro-Bowl athletes the week before the actual Super Bowl, this year we take a look at some superstars of the faith found in Hebrews 11 to see what we can learn from the people who are highlighted in this amazing chapter of scripture.

We wrap up this series with a panel discussion including even more voices from our community sharing their experiences with living into their identities as children of God. Join us as we continue to wrestle through what this means for how we live out our faith in the world around us.

Being a child of God is about growing in relationship. Our relationship grows and deepens over time. Our life gives us ways to see and understand the relationship we have as a child of God.

When we don’t fully understand the fact that we all are created in the image of the Triune God, breakdowns occur in how we view ourselves and how we view others. These breakdowns can lead to a faulty representation of the image of God in the world. The Lord looks first at the heart. Are we?
