Don't Call It a Comeback
Easter at Harbor Church 2024
It would be tempting to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus as a great "comeback" story. That's not true. It's the fulfillment and following through of the plan God laid out from the very beginning. Reducing the resurrection to an individual "comeback story" trivializes its implications and overlooks its greatest power and purpose. The resurrection was not an isolated comeback but a creation-shaking culmination of God's love in action for us.
