We all know by now- while not a guarantee, it sure seems damn likely that Roe v Wade is going to be overturned, endangering the lives of many millions of people in the US. This podcast episode, featuring another brand new guest host, sure covers a lot of stuff we've ALREADY kvetched about, but gosh golly gee is it all still very much a real issue and STILL PAINFULLY RELEVANT. We also touch on moving, an incredibly frustrating thing in its own right, which also, as a reminder, highlights how difficult it is for anyone in one of the many states about to rescind and criminalize abortion access, to "just leave." Ah, love it here.

CW: Brief mention of death due to COVID-19
Didn't you hear? The pandemic is over! Masks off! CELEBRATE! Well, except for the fact that there's once again a new variant taking over...that's even more infectious than omicron. And the fact that there's still huge swaths of the population at risk due to being immunocompromised or ineligible for the vaccine. And the fact that the pandemic isn't ACTUALLY over globally, which is partly why we keep getting these variants in the first place! Why are people so willing to decide they're done with something that is very much here and very much still dangerous and unknown? (even if "mild?") Oh, they just don't care? ...right.
Join an exasperated Host #1 along with the wonderful, but just as exasperated, OG Host #3 as they discuss how wild it is that we continue to find ourselves in the same old BS cycle of variants and surges and forcing people to take on unnecessary risks, all because people are simply "over it" and cannot be arsed to care anymore.

Seriously, guys? (and girls, and nonbinary folks, and anyone else!) The world is sh*tty enough right now, we don't NEED others' help to make it even sh*ttier and drag it backwards...or watch (rich white) folks try to brute force everyone into maintaining the sh*tty status quo that ONLY benefits them. Is this making sense or is it too cryptic? Well, I suppose we need some way to entice you to listen to the episode :)
