Poem 27: "PAUSE"
- When you make time to stand and stare, you see the people around running their daily races burdened with care.

When you make time to be still, you discover amidst the heat of locking fists with fate, a carefree breeze of mild chill.

When you make time to experience each breath, instead of merely inhaling and exhaling, you realize the expansion of your heart's realm, and the deepening of its depth.

Why don't we take a pause then?

Just for this moment, let's forget the who, the what, the where, the how, and the when.

When our friendship begun, we didn't remember how we first talked.
It never mattered.

Now as it's gradually fading away, we fail to remember the last time we talked.
Now, it doesn't matter.

Are our lives so full of care?
We no longer talk and share.

Do you wonder like me too, my friend?
How the endless street of our friendship wound up at a dead end!

An unrecoverable loss.
A friend that was.

Poem 25: "SEASONS OF THE SOUL"
- Summer:
Shimmery golden sunshine,
Fierce passion in the soul,
Burning away the dead memories.

Monsoon:
Drenched in emotion,
Quenched is the thirst of parched lands.
Soul dances at the thumping of raindrops.

Autumn:
Letting go,
Shaking off the memories.
Falling in love or falling apart, but falling in place.

Winter:
Aching for warmth,
Barren landscape of nothingness.
Dead leaves crushed underfoot.

Spring:
The soul blooms with life.
Lying on a bed of petals,
The heart blushes.

Poem 24: "SHE FLIES"
- A fragile dream filled in her eyes -
A dream to touch the virgin skies.

But rendezvous with reality was a deceit,
And the dream trickled down to her feet.

With a sigh, ahead on the road she moved.
Unrequited dream got crushed underfoot.

I'll forget it like a nightmare - she pondered.
But, what if I don't give up - she wondered.

Soon the dream transformed into a magic carpet,
And off she flew on a voyage nobody would ever forget.

- Some admire the beauty of the moon, while some notice the craters.
Some venture out for blood after dark, while some are vampires of broad daylight.

Some can't stand the dimwits, while some won't let the geniuses stand.
Amidst all the extremities of life's dramas, mediocrity breeds and flourishes.

Where are we going as the human race?
Two steps forward and one step backward.

Oh, how we're addicted to Garba!

- फ़ितरत-ए-ज़िन्दगी है चुनौतियाँ अता करना।
पर हमारी भी ज़िद है, उनका डट कर सामना करना।

डर के अँधेरे न छू पाएँ हैं, और न कभी छू पाएँगे।
जुनून की जो लौ सर पर सवार है, बुलंद शोले जिनके न बुझ पाएँगे।

नाउम्मीदी की लेहरों का उफान जब नैया डगमगा देगा,
घनघोर तूफ़ान को चीर, हौंसलों का उजाला राहें जगमगा देगा।

जो न थके, जो न रुके, वो आँधी हूँ मैं।
समय का शंखनाद सुन, आ राही हूँ मैं।
