The biblical story of Jesus gave a mission statement of opening the eyes of the blind and setting captives free. The captivity Jesus saw and condemned in his story more than all else? The bondage of religious law vs connect to god, neighbor and self. Nowhere did he condemn the clothing, presentation or loves of another person.

So how it is that Christianity in our age has come to me "don't run like a girl, don't throw like a girl, don't dress like one and FOR GODSSAKE don't cry or seek emotional help, like a girl."
