Dr. Nick Jackson visits the studio to talk about storm preparedness and how BRACE creates whole community disaster resiliency through public-private partnerships to educate, train, and engage. Since 2006, Be Ready Alliance Coordinating for Emergencies (BRACE) has been a leader in disaster readiness, response, and recovery programs throughout the State of Florida. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has recognized BRACE for its efforts with multiple honors including the renowned “John D. Solomon Whole Preparedness Award”.
