You’ve been there before… prayed for something and felt like God wasn’t there to hear you. He certainly didn’t give you an answer much less the one you were looking for. Today, we’re going deeper into the messages from the weekend about wondering why God doesn’t hear our prayers. I think you’ll be surprised by some of the roadblocks that are there in our prayer life.

We are in the season of Lent and our series for Lent is Deeper: Spiritual Practices For A More Deeply Rooted Faith. On today’s episode we have both Pastor Jason and Don along with Tommi to discuss the importance of prayer. Pastor Jason gives us the many examples in scripture where we are directed, called, and guided to pray. We have the map laid out for us, but when it comes down to it… it can feel hard. Pastor Jason and Tommi are talking about how the example was set for us by Jesus and our job is to follow his lead. Through kindness toward others and loving one another we can truly make a difference. When we let our faith make a difference in our hearts we can then live our ways to make a difference in the lives of others.
