There Is Still A Miracle In Your House/Pastor Femi Paul/MidWeek Service
The Highlighted key text talks about the widow who lost her husband and was about to lose her sons to creditors. But she found out that there's still a miracle left in her house.
You may have lost some things, or bereft of some of the things that makes life sweet; but as long as you are a child of God, there's still a miracle left in your house! "House" talks about your life and situation.
But it is your responsibility to find what is left in your house and use it as instructed as soon as you have found it!
God usually uses whatever is left, no matter how little it is to turn things around. He is so big, that He doesn't need a big thing to do a big thing. As a matter of fact, He delights in using the little things we despise to do mighty things.
God will always make sure that there's something left of you, something left in your house He can use to intervene.
The issue is that even when God shows us the little thing He intends to use to turn things around, there's the temptation to think "God, how?"
This is because sometimes we do not see the way He sees.
“What can I do to help you?” Elisha asked. “Tell me, WHAT DO YOU HAVE IN THE HOUSE?” “Nothing at all, except a flask of olive oil,” she replied."
2 Kings 4:2
The widow knew she had a little jar of oil but never thought it could amount to her miracle.
The way of escape always looks so little that we despise it. God may use something you have no regard for or even a person to turn things around. For the widow, the way out was the jar of oil.
If she didn't pour the oil, nothing would have happened! It would have seemed as though there was no miracle in her house.
God's part is to make sure that something is left in your house that will produce your miracle, your part is to find it and do as instructed!
We must learn to embrace instructions!
As long as something is left, God can use it to restore your fortunes better than before!
God is able to sort you out beyond your personal needs, so much so that other people associated with you will also partake of the blessing.
In Exodus 4; after Moses had succumbed to living a low life, he also found out that a miracle was left in his life.
The rod Moses despised and thought was ordinary was the instrument of deliverance God used at the red sea.
CHILD OF GOD, THERE IS STILL A MIRACLE LEFT IN YOUR HOUSE!!!
Restoration Cometh/Pastor Femi Paul/Holy Communion Service
God may have allowed us to go through hardship but He's now reintroducing Himself as God - Our Restorer.
Your struggle is only for a season!
PSA 23:3A (AMPC)
"He Refreshes and Restores my life (& myself/self worth/self esteem)."
Make up cannot make up for what you lack, it is only God that can refresh your self worth!
Your best days are not behind you; for "the path of the just is as the shining light that shines ever brighter unto the perfect day." (Prov. 4:18)
God doesn't need earthly resources to bless you. He is able to bless you with what money can buy by giving you what money cannot buy!
Your view of God cannot reduce God. He remains who He is in and out of season. And He is set to introduce Himself in this season by giving us "Surprise! Surprise!!"
A lot of people have a shallow mentality of God. They want to deal with Him by how they like and how they feel, not according to His standard.
While others have reduced the standard because of their present struggles and pressure.
We should be like the three Hebrew men and Job who held on to God in the midst of incredible trials!
Don't redefine God just because you are going through something.
