There is No End Zone in Life with Marty Lauzon Leave Your Mark

    • 社會與文化

This episode features Marty Lauzon. Marty is a physical therapist and athletic trainer and has worked for the past thirty years in numerous roles in elite performance. He is Canadian, born in Quebec, and educated at the University of Ottawa.  Post-graduation back in 1994 he interned for the Montreal Machine of the start-up World Football League.  He then found himself doing an internship at USC and then with the UCLA Bruins where he later landed a position of Director of Rehab. From the university career, he jumped into an opportunity to get closer to home and work with the Cleveland Browns of the NFL as an assistant trainer in 2005. After a year off with family, in 2010 he took a role as Head Trainer for the Atlanta Falcon’s where he was eventually promoted to Director of Sports Medicine and Performance.  He was part of their Super Bowl appearance in 2017 and remained a part of an organization that achieved the fewest man-games lost over the course of his eight seasons. Most recently he was a victim of an inevitable organizational change and is now serving through the end of the season with the Atlanta Hawks of the NBA.
