Salespeople tend to have a bad rap that stems from the past popularity of outdated methods like the hard sell. Our profession is often seen as sleazy and unethical — you can thank Hollywood, the “bro” approach to sales dominance, and slimy used-car-salesman types for that! A lot of people don’t want to go into sales because of these stereotypes… even if they would be GOOD at it! 

So many people pass up amazing opportunities when they scroll past job listings for sales positions.
