April has worked within the tech industry for over 8 years working with brands like Vision Direct, Tech Nation and Talentful. With a passion to champion the narrative on Diversity and Inclusion, April has educated Business Leaders over the years on the importance of creating an inclusive environment and has consulted on People strategies that are inclusive for all.
She's also the Founding Partner of the Youth Development platform - My Runway Group where their mission is to provide a stage for young creatives in the BAME community to network and showcase their creativity.

April talks D&I and recruitment practices and how to improve on attraction, retention and promotion. She talks about how D&I needs to be weaved into recruitment processes and HR and provides some real valuable tips on how you can achieve diverse recruitment.
