The Enneagram Microscope

Welcome to the weekly bite sized snapshot of the most important tool in self-discovery and self-recovery—The Enneagram. In this episode I discuss just how complex and useful the Enneagram is and how it’s much more than Instagram memes and posts give it credit for. I walk through the different ways the Enneagram can be used and misused, and discuss how, when implemented correctly, it can be utilized as a microscope for internal growth.

If you are ready for transformation, to put in the work, and truly want to learn how the Enneagram can bring you to your authentic self, listen to these each week to start the journey back to you.

Authentic self vs. Adapted Self

Each of us has an authentic self, gifts, and strengths, as well as an adapted self that we develop based on our environment and circumstances. As we grow and are faced with trauma, we adapt in order to protect ourselves, building walls that inevitably can keep us disconnected from joy and love.

I talk about how the Enneagram can be used to break through the prison you have built, and how it is a roadmap to self-compassion—how you can’t have compassion and love for another person before first having it for yourself.

A Roadmap to Liberation

I share my own experience and how the Enneagram changed my life, and how to take the journey a little at a time in order to make a sustainable transformation. The more open you are to the process without rushing it, the more the changes will stick.

The Enneagram can help you find the way back to your unique soul path, and although there may be turbulence, my goal is to help you use this tool to transform your life and to make the moves that matter most: When you can see, hear, and understand another human being that is where real connection grows, and when you can do that for yourself, that is where you find freedom.
