Host and 7 Figure Seller Joie Roberts answers the number one question she gets many times a week… even many times a day.
That question is: What should I sell on Amazon!!!
Here are her 5 proven methods to finding the right product for you to sell:
#1 Keyword Research - Think in key words. When you are shopping online - you put in the keywords you’re looking for. Do this in the search bar on Amazon and suggested top searches come up - giving you product ideas that have high search volume by customers looking to buy. You can also get the the Helium10 extension and research tools here: www.amzproductspotter.com
#2 What is the competition - or the barrier to enter on Amazon - is it already saturated?  I like to look for lower competition with high demand in terms of search volume and keyword opportunities.
#3 Look at the reviews!  Look at the reviews on Amazon of the products that are already selling, this is the opportunity to find a way to improve the product. You can find simple tweaks to improve a product by listening to people who have already used it and wrote a review, especially the bad reviews.
#4 Check sites off Amazon: What is trending on instagram, pinterest and tiktok?  How about Etsy? I love to tell people to stop shopping and start selling!
#5 The right product for you to sell is different from what I am going to sell. For me, I prefer to sell more expensive products - like $100 or above. I am comfortable in the luxury product space. Think about your budget and what you’re comfortable making per unit to get started.
Bonus tip! The first product you sell on Amazon does not have to define you! Don’t overthink it, it is more important to get your products up on amazon and selling than to overthink every step. The what if's can hold you back.
Once you make the decision to sell on amazon, keep the momentum going - we all make mistakes, you want to make your mistakes quickly and adjust and keep building your business.
