Personal branding is a hot topic in the world of marketing, social media and entrepreneurship.  

Thinking of themselves as a "Brand" or building a brand might even make some people uncomfortable.  

With social media being what it is and the public demand for greater transparency and access to the decision makers behind the businesses and brands they support, I prefer to look at "personal brand" as the reputation that you actively and intentionally cultivate rather than letting the world decide for you what that reputation is.  

In today's episode we speak with Kelly Millar, a Transformational Branding Expert from London about the importance of personal branding in today's world and why, even as an employee, it's important to think about taking charge of your Personal Brand.

On this week's episode we speak with Justin Nguyen, the 23 year old CEO of GetChoGrindUp.com.  GetChoGrindUp is a community dedicated to helping young adults (college  and post grad) find success both in school and after.  The company hosts events, creates content aimed at inspiring & educating their audience, and has launched two successful podcasts: The GetChoGrindUp Podcast and College De-Classified. 

In addition to launching his brand two years ago, Justin is also a LinkedIN coach/consultant, helping individuals and businesses optimize their LinkedIn profiles and marketing tactics.

We had an amazing conversation about the origins of GetChoGrindU and how content creation fueled the company's growth, the current state of LinkedIn and how we think the COVID-19 Pandemic is going to affect higher education and the world at large.

On this week's episode we speak with Peter Lopez, a book publisher, podcaster, coach and consultant with a 25 year track record in sales and strategic partnerships.
