Shop SABRE using “SABRERUN” to save 20% off your order. In this week’s episode, we learn about Chinese medicine - a new topic for us at Team BibRave! We talk to Todd Playmale-Mallory, an experienced Acupuncturist and Physician of Chinese Medicine, who works with a number of endurance athletes out of Boulder, CO.
Todd starts off introducing us to the philosophy behind Eastern Medicine. We dive into the misperceptions behind the practice. And then we get into the details of different therapies - acupuncture vs. dry needling, cupping, etc. The conversation ends by exploring how we as athletes should approach treatment proactively vs. reactively.
