#16 - Anxiety or Anxiety Disorder? How to Tell When Anxiety Becomes a Problem All The Hard Things

    • Mental Health

In this episode, I go over some ways that symptoms of various psychological "disorders", such as anxiety, OCD, and depression, can actually be normal and functional - in reasonable doses.  At what point does it become unreasonable?  I'll give you some questions you can ask yourself to determine whether you simply have an "anxious personality", anxious tendencies, anxiety symptoms, or something indicative of a formal diagnosis.  I go over the diagnostic criteria for OCD and the "red flags" for knowing whether you're at the tipping of point of potentially being able to benefit from therapy.  I also provide resources for you to find a therapist in your area.
