27: Debunking the Myths of Acupuncture w/ Alyssa D'Arcy Hear Me Ror

    • Alternative Health

It's time to put some acupuncture myths to rest with our latest guest Alyssa D’Arcy. With a Masters Degree in both Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine she is a wealth of knowledge in all things acupuncture. She is nationally board certified by the NCCAOM and a Licensed Acupuncturist under the MA Board of Registration in Medicine. She earned her Bachelors in Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology from UMASS Amherst. If all that isn't enough, at the New England School of Acupuncture, Alyssa pursued a dual track in Chinese Herbal Medicine and Orthopedic Acupuncture. Her specialties include women’s health, fertility, anxiety, depression, insomnia and cosmetic acupuncture. Needless to say, she's done her research and we are excited to learn from her this week on the show. So, "stick" around if you're ready to get the full scoop on acupuncture.

We're going to discuss:

-Connection to spiritual/emotional/physical health

-The science of acupuncture

-What it is like having a family business

-Our tongue health

-Why the root cause is so important to truly heal

- And last but not least Acupuncture & the nervous system

There's a lot of topics here that we don't plan to just poke at, but truly dive deep to understand. So if you're ever wanted to know more I encourage you to take the time to hear what my latest expert has to say about life, the body, and acupuncture! Enjoy!~
