This show is about everything animation: weekly news stories, reviews, interviews with professionals and indie creators, etc. We also have fan-art contests, play trivia, do character skits and a ton of other community interaction... because entertainment! I'm Stephen Brooks and I run Rubber Onion, a boutique studio that creates hand-drawn animation, and am the author of 'Tradigital Animate CC: 12 Principles of Animation in Adobe Animate.' My best friend and fellow animator, Rob Yulfo, joins me for this weekly podcast. The big story this episode is obviously Coyote vs Acme but rather than just talk about how much of a bummer this all is we try to wrap our heads around the why of it all. We also start a new segment called "A.I. Watch" which I'm sure will be a regular thing as we check in on what's going on with all that. There's also a bunch of what we're calling "body sounds"... it's painfully make sense. Enjoy!

295 10 Year Anniversary
Had a great time celebrating and chatting about the last 10 years of us doing this little ol' podcast on a live show with Patrons in chat... sampling many bourbons and rye in our collection. The actual anniversary is Oct 19th and we did in fact record on this day! I put timestamps down for this one since it's a three-hour show to make it easier to move about the episode but if you want the true experience just listen to it straight through and listen to Rob and my speech get slower and slurrier as the episode goes on, it's a delight. Cheers to 10 years!

Best Animation Podcast I Know
I originally learned about Stephen from his YouTube tutorials and learned a lot of tips on creating animated shorts. The podcast features amazing buddy chemistry, lots of laughs and tons of inside information on the animation world. Regularly features thoughtful discussion of life topics, work ethic and really inspiring interviews too.
Come for the podcast and stay for the monthly animation battles!
Sequel
We need a sequel to Song of the sea. There were way too many unanswered questions, cliff hangers and too much potential for them to stop at one movie, believe me!
Fantastic podcast that will make you laugh & be inspired
I'm not an animator but i love listening to Stephen & Rob. Their podcasts are just wonderful. I love how they make me laugh with their conversations and sometimes it's just random. I also love the interviews with great animators that they do. It's very inspiring.
