319: Your Pain is Your Portal The Reclamation Project

Today, Julianne talks about pain with wisdom she learned from her knee injury, and the surgery it took to heal it.
 
She describes her difficulty learning how to flex her quad again in physical therapy, and offers wisdom for the way we can nurture ourselves through pain. Tapping into the sacred mother within all of us allows us to steward pain and learn from it instead of allowing it to hold us back. Through practice and patience, she mothered herself through the pain of physical therapy.
 
By honoring the mother archetype, Julianne was able to move slowly and stop her mind from pushing her to heal quickly–and instead to heal as her body wanted. Pain and pleasure are the opposite ends of the same spectrum.
