In this episode we talk with Nuno Flores, Managing Director of Introsys, and Belma Rizvanović, co-founder of H:ART, Project Manager of Madan Parque and PhD candidate in Digital Ecosystems and Platforms at FCT NOVA.
Our conversation focuses primarily on Industry 4.0: what is it, how is it influencing us and global economies, what opportunities does it bring, and where are we going. Specifically, we look at the national scene from the point of view of companies and startups and how Portugal can find its position in this 4th revolution. The discussion also leads us to the issues raised by the industry at a time when discontent with Capitalism is growing, Sustainability is a buzzword, and society faces a pandemic that may force us to change the way in which the industry operates in a post-COVID world.
