In episode 66 of The Rebuilt Man podcast, Coach Frank Rich shares 4 practical tips and steps to take to heal your brain from the damaging effects of pornography addiction. Frank emphasizes the importance of having a plan, being intentional, and being consistent over time.

The four tips are:
Dopamine Detox: For 30 to 60 days, avoid activities that cause massive spikes in dopamine, such as social media, pornography, video games, and high-sugar foods. After a few weeks, introduce healthy ways to stimulate dopamine, like pursuing challenging activities.

Learn New Skills: Engage in activities that challenge you, such as learning a musical instrument, a new sport, or a new language. This stimulates neuroplasticity, allowing the brain to create new neural pathways.

Gratitude Practice: Start each day by writing down three to four things you're grateful for. This practice releases dopamine, serotonin, and oxytocin, leading to a more positive outlook and healing effects on the brain.

Serve Others: Actively look for opportunities to serve and love others, as this counteracts the selfishness that can result from pornography addiction and helps rewire the brain towards empathy and connection.
