Great Show, but Take off the gloves!!

Love the show, guys!! I especially love that compilation portion and really appreciate all the work Tim put into it. He’s great. However, he’s been way too nice as of late. Jeff and Ben have complained so that now the thing’s so easy. It’s like they’re playing on a 7 foot rim. It’s time for Tim to take the gloves off and really let them have it. NO MORE MR. NICE HOST!!

Still Essential After All These Years

The Three Friends are back and in great form with a musical road trip to various cities. Season II saw their Favorite Albums of the Year, from 1969 to the present. The producer/MC has honed his skills to the micron, the talent is on fire, and the format endures. It more than endures - it rocks. Album Selection opens doors for this listener because of the multiple in-roads an album offers. I didn’t, in Season I, tend to look to an album of an artist new to me if I didn’t like the Boy’s Favorite Song (my fault) but when he nominates the album, I do more exploring. Hence my growing list, “Thanks, 50 Years of Music” - songs I like, thanks to the show (and didn’t know). Also, I really enjoy the topics covered - what makes a good cover, etc. What we still need from the Fellas in Marketing: playlists from the Podcast. I’m working too hard with notes on scraps of paper.

You 3 guys are amazing!

Tim, Jeff, and Ben make an unholy trio of musical experts with indelible opinions and incredible knowledge of the back stories of the music and the musicians that they like! Listening to these three charming educators talk about their lives and musical experiences (+memories ) is a thrill each week. Their camaraderie is really fun. Even though I am old enough to be a father to any of them, I learn enough from each podcast to keep me coming back for more! Keep up the good work, guys, Singalong Bill

Thank you again!Your last installment of season two is a beautiful expression of the effort that you three have put in for two years and the fun that you get out of doing such a good job at it.
Bravo from Singalong Bill, once again.

Good luck in season three, i’ll be there listening. If you do an episode on the “60s San Francisco sound or scene”, I hope I can guest, since I was there, then.
Thanks again for doing the podcast.
