8/25 - Messi is Leaving Barcelona! Champions League Final Recap!

As of the time I'm typing this, THIS IS NOT A DRILL! All signs are leading to Messi actually leaving Barcelona this summer. Where is he going to go? We have absolutely no idea. We have some realistic targets and other "realistic" targets for Lionel Messi's future.

We also break down the original lead topic of this pod, the Champions League Final! Did PSG finally win their first title? No, they basically disappeared in the 2nd half.

8/17 - Champions League Quarterfinals, MLS Regular Season Phase 1 Preview

8/17 - Champions League Quarterfinals, MLS Regular Season Phase 1 Preview

The Quarterfinals have passed and there were plenty of surprises as Manchester City, Atletico Madrid and (almost) PSG faced elimination. PSG barely salvaged their best-ever campaign in the competition while Guardiola and Simeone were left wondering how they squandered such a great opportunity at reaching the Semifinals.

Barcelona barely even showed up as Bayern completely obliterated them.

Now, Lyon will face Bayern while Leipzig will face PSG to determine who will reach the 2019-20 Champions League Final.

To wrap up, we take a look at the Rivalry Phase 1 of MLS's return to the regular season. Hudson River Derby, Atlantic Cup, Canadian Classique, El Trafico, Texas Derby, Rocky Mountain Cup and so much more to look forward to!

7/27 - Premier League Ends With a Bang, Serie A Hits Final Stretch, Champions League Preview

7/27 - Premier League Ends With a Bang, Serie A Hits Final Stretch, Champions League Preview

We are back to give our surface-level thoughts on the end of the Premier League! Aston Villa were ultimately, quite literally, handed a gift in their goal-line technology controversy versus Sheffield United earlier in the season as they scraped by. United ultimately finished 3rd, while Leicester dropped out of the Champions League. What are the big takeaways?

Elsewhere, Juventus clinched their 9th straight Scudetto, but there is still places to be won in the form of Europa League positions. Milan, Roma and Napoli (not so much on Napoli)need to find out where they ultimately land in the table, and who is going to the Group Stage.

We then move to Champions League to give our thoughts on the upcoming games, and move to the U.S. where MLS and NWSL are back in action in their bubble competitions.

7/21 - Real Madrid Win La Liga, English Footbal Hits High Intensity, Balon d'Or Cancelled

We are back as Spain finished it's delayed domestic campaign! Real Madrid took the title, Barcelona fell apart after the restart, and there were some wild scenes as European spots and relegation were decided in the final moments.

In England, teams like Leicester and Bournemouth shifted into positions that will be hard to shake. For one, Champions League will come down to the final day and for the other, relegation seems all but happening. And Chelsea won another WFT Derby in the FA Cup.

Moving on, we talk briefly about the Balon d'Or getting called off for this bizarre year.

Fair Football Fare; Far From Fantastic

Interesting group but occasionally unaware of topics or facts. In discussion of VAR, the group talked as if the ref could call for assistance when the reality is it's up to the VAR to initiate contact with on field referee.
Otherwise a fun discussion of EPL results and ties. Good listen but not a top, top player.
