7 Things I Wish I Knew When I Started Lifting - #3: Training Only 'Mirror Muscles‪'‬ The Coach Mark Carroll Podcast

In today's episode of 7 Things I Wish I Knew When I Started Lifting I talk about wishing I had focused more on training 'non-mirror' muscles - such as back, glutes, hamstrings, and also direct core work.

It's important not to neglect training the muscles you can't see - you want to be strong all over to avoid injury and imbalances!

I also address the question of "do you need to do direct core work if you squat and deadlift?"

I explain why base core strength development is important no matter what your goals are.
