This week our guest is Charlene Thomas as we learn about Haircuts For Those In Need -- a Buffalo, NY based 501c3 non-profit, founded in 2018. They offer free haircuts to anyone in need, no questions asked! Currently, their volunteers provide 60-100 free haircuts every month at shelters located throughout Buffalo and Niagara Falls.

716 Together: Niagara Frontier Search and Rescue (6-16-24)
We're joined by Kathy Galus of Niagara Frontier Search & Rescue (NFSAR) team -- one of 25 land search teams that make up the New York State Federation of Search and Rescue (NYSFEDSAR). NFSAR serves as the only dedicated wilderness and rural SAR resource within the eight western counties of New York and was formed to assist public safety agencies and the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation with land search and rescue. They are a volunteer not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization established in July of 2007 dedicated to finding lost, missing or stranded individuals, and educating the public on wilderness hiking and recreational safety.
