It was the early 2000s, post women’s liberation and even when Marche found herself expectedly pregnant she considered termination. Before she could decide what she wanted to do, Marche was incorrectly diagnosed with a blighted ovum, and told she’d miscarry. About to start grad school and ridden with grief, Marche took abortifacients, only to find out the day after that she’d been incorrectly diagnosed.
