    94twenty podcast – Episode 48

In this episode of the podcast, we talk about how sometimes a song needs to be sung by the person who wrote it. Also, is podcast the right term for what we are doing? And how obscure 'styles' of music are just as valid as mainstream music. Our featured artists are Carolena, Bridget Rian and Carrie Welling in a throwback to some really sync-able music we already have highlighted in previous episodes.

    94twenty podcast – Episode 47

In this episode, we talk about how music from "back in the day" can have a new life! As long as the music is quality and it matches the mood of the project, any song from any era can land a sync deal. We also discuss our latest venture SyncNdex (check it out, especially if you are a music supervisor!), and our thoughts on what is going on with NFT's (or simply N's) and art. Our featured artist this week is the band Carl and the Passion, a throwback to the 1980s.

In this episode of the podcast, we talk about how the music industry is starting to open back up since the start of COVID, and how it has changed how artists are making money (as we predicted back in older episodes). We also talk about what LIVE shows will look like, and question if other musicians actually enjoy going out and seeing other artists perform. Our featured artist is Ethan Gold. Remember to listen all the way through to hear some exclusive answers to our "Question of the Week" from Ethan.

    94twenty podcast – Episode 45

In this episode of the podcast, we discuss how terrestrial radio still has value for music artists looking to succeed in their music careers. We have a new "Carl's Rule" that's fairly ridiculous. And we also raise the question: When does an EP become an album? Our featured artist this week is Rayne Johnson. Be sure to listen through to hear his answers to our "Questions of the Week."

    94twenty podcast – Episode 43

In this episode of the podcast, we discuss sync-licensing and our thoughts around what discovery should look like for music supervisors. How much we enjoy the style of music for this week's featured artist, and how there really is nothing more authentic than recording to tape because of its limitations and creativity that sparks. We also had our featured artist, Paul Loren, answer some great questions regarding his latest project!

I’m not big on Podcasts but I’m sure happy to have found this one. The trio gives different insights on the music industry and bring some really awesome music and artists to my ears. Carl, Greg and the awesome Nicole, keep this going!

Great podcast!

Really fascinating podcast from the inside of the music industry that doesn’t feel exclusionary or elitist. Really enjoy listening to the stories and the hosts seem to genuinely want to help up and coming artists.
