Betty is the founder of Breaking Cycles, a ministry in Guatemala that works to break cycles of poverty, lack of education, and abuse through programs that meet needs of the community. Breaking Cycles runs a tutoring program for elementary and middle school students, teaches job skills, builds homes for families in need, and gives beds to children whose families attend educational workshops.
