    In this episode, our new host Theresa and our special guest Heather (@Travels.Of.Heather) talk about visiting the same places to shower, solo female vanlife, and of course everything toilet!

    Heather's love of travel and passion for the arts led her and her former partner to start vanlife in 2018 after leaving their life in Toronto.  Now she is starting a new journey solo in her tiny studio space working as a freelance illustrator as she builds out her '92 Astro van for her return to the road.  She hopes to inspire people to live a more mindful, sustainable life and remember that they totally deserve all the good things they desire.

    In this episode we have Jack Frost co-founder Theresa taking over as podcast host! Theresa and our special guests Shane and Emily, from the band Arbour Season, talk about living in a school bus with small children, playing music on the go, and of course; all about the toilet.

    Arbour Season travels the country full time in their converted school bus playing house shows, colleges, coffee shops, and other venues. They got their start playing at Disney Springs twice a week and other theme parks and venues in Florida. They are an indie/folk husband and wife duo who draw inspiration from the incredible adventures they experience all across North America.

Chris and Taylor travel full time in their DIY Sprinter camper van with their two dogs Chief and Store. The Adventure Allens are a nonprofit organization that is an education and an inspiration platform to help educate and inspire van lifers and enthusiasts alike to thrive on their journey. They recently just came out with an e-book “So You Want To Live In A Van”, a book targeted to dreamers and spectators ready to start van life.

Their current plan is to drive down south all the way to Patagonia. Travel might not look the same as it once used to pre-covid but there is a silver lining to their experience and they think it is worth telling.

Jake and Heather live in their Self-converted Sprinter van full-time. It all started with the idea that they could go travel and live free from their everyday grind of paying bills and working 9-5. Jake spent 9 months designing and building out their van for them and their two dogs and today they live in it full-time! Listen to the episode for some hilarious stories!

Rambo uses her ten years of service in the Marine Corps to inspire her work and her passion to continue to serve. She has traveled the globe in search of adventures that capture the essence of hardworking service members and a diverse range of cultures and is now ready to take her family along for the ride… Driven by the passionate belief that every veteran deserves a safe space for families to come together and bond, Rambo and her family have collectively created Painted Buffalo Studio to bring art to the veteran community.

    The Rambo Family converted a 1997 Blue Bird school bus into a full-time tiny house on wheels and traveling studio. They moved in on August 1, 2019. Full-time bus livers include Jessica (Mom), Liam (9 yrs old), Skyler (12 yrs old), Bella (Service Dog, Black Lab), Atlas (Blue Heeler), and Sushi. (Turkish Van Cat)

Like the topic. Great guest in episode #1. Vanlife is all glamour on Instagram. It’s fun to hear about the other side. Still makes me want to get out there and travel.
