    Guest Bio:

Lamon Jewelers has been a family owned business for over 38 years. Started by Howard and Ann Lamon, their  first store in the Knoxville area was in a small strip center on Alcoa Hwy in the early 1980’s. Back then it was called Solid Gold Jewelers. Ann and Howard opened a second store at the current Knoxville location two years later. Eventually all operations were moved to the Knoxville location in the late 1980’s and the name was changed to Lamon Jewelers. Adrienne Lamon, their oldest daughter joined the business in the mid 1990’s and Emily Lamon Justice, their youngest daughter joined the business in the late 1990’s. In 2006 they expanded and renovated our Knoxville store into a log cabin themed building, emphasizing their down to earth, honest and fair driven customer experience they had become known for in Knoxville.

Motherhood and Everything That Comes With It

Motherhood and Everything That Comes With It

    Episode Summary:
Today's episode of A Cup of Confidence is a very special one. We are going to tackle MOTHERHOOD and everything that comes along with it. Believe it or not, I did not always want to be a mom. I was more than happy being the cool aunt and STAYING the cool aunt. However, time went on, I married my husband, and we had my son! I am so thankful to be a mother now. He has taught me so much about letting go and going with the flow, and I continue to grow in so many ways because of him. Mother’s Day is a tough one, though. It can be such a beautiful day and a very challenging one for so many. With that being said, it is extremely important to remember, reflect, and recognize all of the mother figures out there and that it’s okay for it to look different for others. This episode is so special and dear to my heart; you’re not going to want to miss this - stay tuned!

    Being Open To New Possibilities

    Being Open To New Possibilities

    Episode Summary:
Today's episode of A Cup of Confidence will be a solo one, but a special one.
We are going to be diving into a topic that we don’t talk about enough, being open-minded to new possibilities as a business owner. Realizing when it’s time to pivot as a business owner can be challenging, but just know that if you decide to change course, it’s OKAY. What I’ve learned along this journey as a business owner is that the end game might not be what you expected, and that’s okay. It’s okay if you dive into having your own business and realize that it’s not for you. It’s okay to take a step back. It’s okay to close up shop if it’s not serving you anymore. Today’s episode is about tackling those taboo subjects of saying no, living for yourself, and knowing when to close a door. This episode is so special and dear to my heart; you’re not going to want to miss this - stay tuned!
