A podcast about the books most people read. Meredith and McCall have been friends for a decade and run Birmingham's oldest independent bookstore, Little Professor. Not feeling at home in the high-brow book communities, Mere and McCall are embracing the fact that they're only "a little bookish." On the podcast they discuss books, Little Professor, and the little things that make them happy. Tune on Tuesdays if you're a little bookish!

Customer Reviews
A treat to listen to every week!
While you’ll definitely get some great book recs (my TBR list is so much longer thanks to Meredith and McCall), it’s also such a fun conversation about so much more than books! Listening truly feels like chatting with friends - so much so, that I’ve often found myself talking back to them in the car. I am so lucky to have Little Professor as my local bookshop, but this podcast makes it easy for everyone to enjoy the delight and revelry that Meredith and McCall bring to their community.
Fun “grab bag”
I love hearing McCall and Meredith just chat about life and throw in some books I’d enjoy
A delight!
McCall and Meredith are such fun to listen to! In real life and on the pod, they’re warm, personable, and relatable. The podcast is a treat, and it’s not at all snobbish about books and reading (unlike some popular book podcasts…cough cough Modern Mrs. Darcy). Give this one a go, you’ll love it!
