Favorite literary podcast!

Enjoyable and funny! I love that this podcast is varied and not every topic is about a YA novel. They even discuss classics! I highly recommend this podcast for avid book readers not stuck on YA/popular fiction mode.

July 4th comments

I always enjoy this podcast and book recommendations. I was a bit troubled by some of the comments made during the July 4th program. While America certainly has many flaws and has made many of the same civil liberty atrocities of other countries, there is much, much good and worthy of celebration.
I’m currently reading Finding Manana by Mirta Ojito, a native Cuban and her retelling of her life in Cuba reminds you of some of the things American has gotten right in history. I would encourage everyone to read this book when they feel America isn’t worthy of celebration.
